Buddy Poppy 2026 Drive

Jr. Vice CMDR Fernandez - 1/24/2026

On Memorial Day and Veterans Day in the Tewksbury community you will see VFW Post 8164 members and our Auxiliary members posted in front of different establishments in our town. Sites we usually post are Market Basket (Stadium and Shawsheen St), WalMart and OakDale Liquors.

We appreciate the outstanding donations we received during our drives and would like to offer you the opportunity to donate via our website through VENMO.

The VFW Buddy Poppy program provides compensation to those who assemble the poppies, provides financial assistance in maintaining state and national veterans' rehabilitation and service programs and partially supports the VFW National Home. At the Local level, we use the funds directly for assistance to local Veterans in need.
