Funeral and Internment of Comrade Lenny Toombs

 It is with deep sadness that we bid farewell to our comrade Lenny Toombs (U.S. Marine Corps-Vietnam) Enlisted/Served in 1966 USMC, and received the following commendations and awards- National Defense Service medal, the Republic of Vietnam Service Medal with one star, the Republic of Vietnam Campaign medal with clasp, the Purple Heart award with one star and the Marksman badge (Rifle). We Honor and Remember Lenny for his service and dedication to our great Nation. 
 
Lenny was an involved member of our VFW Post 8164 and we will miss his companionship and assistance in our endeavors. 
 
CMDR Oliva, Post Officers and members send our condolences to his wife Mary, his daughter Amy, his son Matthew, their families and extended Toomb family and friends.
 
Pertinent information for today:
 
His funeral procession will begin on Monday, October 28th at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main Street, Route 38, Tewksbury. Services will conclude with interment at St. Mary cemetery, 90 River Road, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Clear Path For Veterans New England, 84 Antietam Street, Devens, MA 01434 or online at www.clearpathne.org
