Greetings,    Calling all Vietnam Veterans, next week we have two events happening that will be honoring our service. Please let us know if you would be interested in attending. One is happening on Wednesday, and the other is on Friday.   Also, the Executive Office of Veterans Services is hosting a movie screening at the Billerica Town Hall next Thursday night. All are welcome!     Billerica Veterans Services and VFW Solomon Post 8819 are hosting a special luncheon to honor all who served during the Vietnam War on Wednesday, March 27th, at 11:30 AM. The "Welcome Home" luncheon will occur at the Shawsheen Tech High School Rams Dining Room at 100 Cook St in Billerica. The meal will be prepared and served by students from Shawsheen Tech's culinary arts program, allowing the community to show appreciation for those who served. For too long, many Vietnam veterans did not receive the respect and gratitude they deserved upon returning home from service. This luncheon aims to properly thank and honor the brave men and women who courageously answered the call to serve their nation during the Vietnam conflict.
