Burial w/Honors for Pvt. Alfred T. Langevin WWII MIA/KIA

PVT. Alfred T. Langevin (U.S. ARMY) was MIA/presumed KIA on November 6, 1944 (80 years) during the Battle of Hurtgen Forest and was positively ID on July 30, 2025. 
 
Town of Weymouth will Honor this American Soldiers return home on Sunday, 11/9/2025 at 12-3PM at the Weymouth Town Hall  75 Middle St. On Monday 10AM a burial procession will start at McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, 809 Main St, South Weymouth, MA, towards Fairmount Cemetery, were PVT. Alfred T. Langevin will be interned with Military Honors at 11AM. 
 
All Veterans and American's that will like to pay respects and a WELCOME HOME to this American Warrior are asked to either attend the Town Hall ceremony OR line the streets from the Funeral Home to the Cemetery OR Attend the burial ceremony. Its the least we can do for a Warrior lost overseas, found and brought back to his home 80 years later.

On June 2021, the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) and the American Battle Monument Commission exhumed a set of remains from the Ardennes American Cemetery in Belgium, known as X-2756. After extensive forensic and DNA analysis remains were positively ID as Pvt. Alfred T. Langevin from Weymouth, MA. Remembrance Sunday at Weymouth Town Hall (12-3pm) and burial at Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth MON 11AM.
