VFW Post 8164 In Tewksbury Announces Fourth Annual Day of Service

TEWKSBURY, MA — The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) is proud to announce the fourth annual VFW Day of Service - a dedicated day of service led by veterans throughout the community - will kick off the first Saturday in May (May 3), marking the start of veteran - led community service projects to take place throughout the month.

Our first project of the month will be on Saturday, May 3 starting at 10:00am. We will be at the Tewksbury Cemetery cleaning up the veterans section in preparation for the Memorial Day Ceremony. VFW Post 8164 is calling on all veterans and their families in our community to join in the VFW Day of Service to show that veterans never stop serving.

Please bring rakes, shovels, leaf blowers, and gloves, if possible. Any questions please call the VFW at 978.284.9880.
