FW Announces Third Annual VFW National Day of Service;

Tewksbury VFW Post 8164 Hosts Community Cleanup of Town Cemetery

 

EVENT: Community Cleanup at Tewksbury Cemetery in Preparation for Memorial Day Ceremony

DETAILS:

On honor of VFW Day of Service, VFW Post 8164 members join with the community for a collaborative effort to clean up the town cemetery in preparation for the Memorial Day Ceremony. Volunteers will rake and haul away debris accumulated over the winter months. This event aims to honor veterans and ensure that the cemetery is properly maintained for the upcoming Memorial Day Ceremony.

 

OPPORTUNITIES FOR COVERAGE:

 

  • Capture volunteers in action as they work to clean up the town cemetery.
  • Speak with Vinnie Oliva, organizers, volunteers and community members to learn more about the significance of the cleanup and the importance of honoring veterans.
  • Highlight the importance of properly maintaining the cemetery in preparation for the Memorial Day Ceremony.
