Welcome or please join Post 8164. A brief note on my service career not to brag but to let you,  the reader, know the units I have served with and my service time. Maybe we served together and that would be an fringe benefits of joining. I joined the Army reserves in 1982 on my Junior year of high school and served until 1987 as an Infantryman 11B with Co A 3rd BN 18th Infantry at Guy Cardillo USAR Center, 675 American Legion Hwy, Roslindale, MA. In 1987, I enlist in active Army, earned my Jump Wings at Ft. Bragg and joined C Co. 3BN 325th Airborne Infantry, stationed in Vicenza, Italy. Until 1990, I jumped in Italy, Spain, France, Germany and Turkey. Got my Foreign awards( French Airborne Wings and German Mountaineer Edelweiss). Return to US and join 1st BN 101st Field Artillery as a 13F , Forward Observer. Deployed to Operation Joint Endeavor 1996-1997.  Next served briefly with A Co. 325th Intelligence, then got conditional release to join Mass Guard, B Co. 1st BN 181 Infantry Regiment in Gardner, MA. Deploy to Hurricane Katrina recovery Operation and Operation Enduring Freedom in 2007-2008 as an ETT( Embedded Training Team to ARSI-West Herat Afghanistan. After retuning, i took position as SFC PSG with HHC 1st BN 182 Infantry Regiment in Melrose, MA. Deployed with Hammer Co for SECFOR duties in the Kabul Cluster in 2011-2012. Inducted into the Order of St. Maurice and Saint Barbara. Retired with 23 years in 2015
